Your best solution is downgrade to Flash 10.3, until Adobe release an update for Flash. (btw, Internet Explorer uses a ActiveX version of Flash, and Chrome comes with its own Flash)

This might be true for IE and Crome but not for Opera, and Safari which use the same control addon for flash as firefox does. Why wouldn't those also be effected if the upgrade happened? Also the player never crashes it just has issues moving the screen around and loading the different parts in the screen. I will try this to test it out but I don't see why it would "only" affect Firefox.

Ok so the issue that I have found is having more then one Flash DLL loaded.

If you have STEAM close it and close Firefox. Including any other programs that use flash.

Once you have it closed then go to

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

Find the DLL Files Similiar to NPSWF32_11_3_300_265.dll ( It will be the last version of flash that you had ( Or you can delete all of them )

Once you have deleted those DLL Files you can go to the flash website http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download and install the latest version.

This will fix the issue that you are having.

Flash 11.3 for Firefox has a unique feature on Windows Vista and Windows 7, which is a new "protected mode." If you are having problems with Flash, consider disabling protected mode since that feature is currently being debugged. Looks like removing the .dll file worked when I downgraded to a lower vesion of flash but still having the same issues with the newest version. I do have steam but I don't run it all the time so that wasn't much of an issue. at least removing the .dll makes it work for now with the 10.3 version of flash. I just wish firefox would figure what their issues are with flash and resovle them rather than making new ans shinny version every chance they get.

Also to the other post, I've tried to disable protected mode with no luck it's still laggy as can be. i've also disabled all addons i've removed firefox and my profiles, i've tried it on my other computer as well with same issues.

Stop blaming it to real player, the real culprit for the lag is adobe flash all the way, adobe don' want the blame that why they are saying real player is the culprit, also my computer doesn't have real player installed but still have the same problem.

I don't have or use real play anymore, so I know it's not the issue, I also know steam isn't the issue as well, Considering that internet explorer, can work just fine with flash we know that flash isn't the issue the browser is. Now I also use Opera which uses the SAME .dll as Firefox does, and it has NO issues with lag at all. I think it's all in how the program uses flash. Maybe Firefox should jump on the bandwagon of getting java/flash integrated in to it so they can make it work with the newest version and I don't have to possibly compromise my computer's safety just to use flash on my browser of choice.
