There have been problems reported with the latest Adobe Reader update on Mac.

You can disable the Adobe Reader plugin in Firefox and use the Adobe Reader program or Preview instead.

  • Firefox > Preferences > Applications > Adobe PDF document : Use Adobe Reader

Hi jimhaynes,

Have you looked at the View PDF files in Firefox or choose another viewer Knowledge Base article? There is a lot of useful information in there. It actually lists two different plugins to try for opening PDF files. I'd try both of them just to be safe.

I have tried both PDF Reader 0.2.5 and Reader 3.3. neither work. None of the other suggestions in the article have helped.
