I will try to give as much details as possible. 1. Some youtube videos won't play. 2. Thumbnails won't show. 3Facebook won't load at all. All I get is the top toolbar. Can't see newsfeed, messages ect. 4.Omegle doesn't work. 5. On the website reddit, I can't log out. 6. I can't upvote or downvote. 7. I can't minimize a thread. 8.On some fourms I can't do more options like add pics. These are the errors I get. http://i.imgur.com/1BSx9.png

I tried disabling ALL addons and plugins. I tried un-installing. I tried clearing cache. I tried clearing history. I even made sure javasrcript was enabled. The weird thing is, it's not only firefox.Chrome and IE do it too! Help!

EDIT:Yahoo does not work either. I had to confirm on my phone

Hello skylarguns make sure your Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_31 for Mozilla browsers is enabled if this does not work email me at jeremyeramian@gmail.com and we can get some screen shots of the issue in action in the mean time ill work on it.

How do I check that? And I can not email. Yahoo does not work. However, I can email on my phone but that is much more difficult. Is thier another way we can connect? IM?

well the java plug in is well a plug in and you can go to your regular plugin menu and check if it is enabled and i can private message you on here and see if we can connect that way for the time being.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

Didn't work :(

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Are you running security software? Check for options related to "third party" sites. For example, Facebook splits their content over multiple domains. If the filter blocks fbcdn.net when viewing Facebook.com, that will break the site.

Nope :( And my malware check didn't find anything

The fact that your other browsers are suffering the same issue really points to something systemic.

Are you using any proxy services such as Anonymizer or Tor?

Can you check the Windows hosts file to see whether any domains are redirected? To do that:

Right-click the icon for Notepad and Run as Administrator.

Use File > Open and paste this and press Enter to open the hosts file:

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

(The hosts file has no file extension, it's just hosts).

By default, every line in this file starts with the # symbol, making Windows ignore that line. If various domains are listed and associated with IP addresses, that may divert them from their true locations to other locations.

I also told him the same and it also could be the rare possibility that the java runtime and or java could have corrupt files

Can you load blocked content like images if you paste the URL in the location bar?

  • Tools > Page Info > Media

Does the Net logging in the Web Console give any information?

  • Web Developer > Web Console (Shift+Ctrl+K)

You can also try to check the response headers with the Liv Http Headers extension.

Adobe Flash player does not work either. I have the plugin installed, and pages still tell me it does not work, or doesn't load.

1. Yes it shows images and doesn't block them

2. Nothing there.

3. Didn't work :( nothing happened

you could try reinstalling the adobe flash player or even upgrading to a newer one and see if that works first

Make sure that you install the 32 bit version of the Flash player.

You can find the 32 bit version of the Flash Player installer for a 32 bit Firefox version here (scroll down to Flash Player (32 bit)):

Adobe flash won't install. I tried automatic install from a third party, and I tried manual instal. When I try manual install, it won't pop up for me to download.

ok so java runs the popup that would provide you the option to open the file so it is a Java error
