Firefox 10.0.2. not only crashes but takes the X-server with it.

It is always and only the first push on the Return-button in the first X-session of the day, that produces this phenomenon: The screen goes black and I am presented a nice terminal-prompt. The x-org log contains nothing at all, the backtrace is as follows:

Backtrace: [ 512.580] 0: /usr/bin/X (xorg_b acktrace+0x26) [0x460566] [ 512.580] 1: /usr/bin/X (0x400000+0x64b7a) [0x464b7a] [ 512.580] 2: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpthread.so.0 (0x7faa4751d000+0x10060) [0x7faa4752d060] [ 512.580] 3: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6 (__select+0x13) [0x7faa465128f3] [ 512.580] 4: /usr/bin/X (WaitForSomething+0x19b) [0x45dffb] [ 512.580] 5: /usr/bin/X (0x400000+0x2f912) [0x42f912] [ 512.580] 6: /usr/bin/X (0x400000+0x232fe) [0x4232fe] [ 512.580] 7: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6 (__libc_start_main+0xed) [0x7faa4645930d] [ 512.580] 8: /usr/bin/X (0x400000+0x235ed) [0x4235ed] [ 512.581] Caught signal 3 (Quit). Server aborting [ 512.581] Please consult the The X.Org Foundation support at http://wiki.x.org

There is currently no other application which produces such trouble. There is also no crash-report dialog opened when I start X and Firefox anew. It restores my previous session alright, but the content of the web-form is usually cleared.

Due do bad experience, I will not follow this thread, nor change profiles nor de-activate extensions but switch to Opera, for some time.
