Hi,

Please try this: right-click the + after the last tab and Customize... or View (Alt + V) > Toolbars > Customize. In this mode you can move the various items around and see if the arrow buttons are hidden behind other buttons or toolbars. Also check if the arrow buttons are present in the Customize mini window and drag them back to the previous location, otherwise Restore Default Set and check again.

After fiddling with it for a few minutes I discovered it was the navigation bar that had mysteriously disappeared. Thank you for guiding me somewhere I had never visited before. :)
