Suddenly, navigation bar (or location bar or whatever) produces a Google search, whatever is typed into it, rather than going to a url; what gives & how to repair?
typing in url field no longer brings up url history and/or url autocomplete. Just brings up suggested search terms, not necessarily ones I've used. I enter a complete url and, instead of going to the site, I get a page of Google search results below. This will include the site I'm trying to access but won't take me there directly. Very frustrating.
