HI i am asking on how to change user agent no browser.

See if you go to Tools->Default User Agent -> we will see many agents i want to select any one .So that if i close browser and open again my user agent should be what i selected and it should not show default user agent

If you use the User Agent extension or another extension to change the user agent then that only lasts for the current session and the user agent will be reset to the default on the next start. That is to avoid problems with other programs (plugins) like Java. So if you really want to keep a changed user agent then you can't use the extension, but need to set the general.useragent.override pref directly.

I tried to add this in general.useragent.override prefs.js script and also about:config and adding new string but its not working. Can u please let me know how to add and save it so that i can use it permanently

You can try to place it in user.js.
