can't close window (not tab) with "CMD"+"W" on mac version of firefox 7.0.1 and firefox 8.0
i noticed that firefox can't no longer closed an opened window using "cmd"+"w" since version 7.0.1. i have to close the window by clicking the "x" button on the upper left corner instead. i just updated to version 8 today and the problem still existed. it has never happened in previous version.
this is quite annoying especially for pop-ups.
is it a bug or a newly added feature? how can i restore it to the way it was?
thanks

just found another bug in version 8. when dragging the tab away, the firefox create a new window, trying to bring it back to the another window does not close the newly created window. the title is also changed to "New Tab" instead.
a new bug found
the tab that was being dragged back to the old window can't be closed with cmd+w or "x" button. after switching to another tab, it also can't be viewed.
windows version of firefox is also affected by the new tab after being dragged from another window issue.
