Can't use "save target as" feature in Firefox 7.0.1, all files are saved with .htm extension! Why?

I'm no longe able to save a file using "save target as" feature, when I'm googling for a file. No matter what the file extension is (ppt, pdf, doc, etc.), Firefox 7 downloads a .htm useless file. I rember I had this issue in FF long time ago! Is this a regression?
