I just switched to Firefox from IE. The fonts are a bit fuzzy, hard to read, in all applications, email, Facebook, websites, etc. Is there a way to make them look better?
Not much more to explain. I'm having trouble with the way things display in Firefox, they appear rather fuzzy, unclear.

Your Flash plugin is quite older. You need to update it.
Adobe Flash Player 10.3.183.7 (2.94 MB)
When Downloading Plugins Update setup files, Remove Checkmark from Downloading other Optional Softwares with your Plugins (e.g. Toolbars, McAfee, Google Chrome, etc.)
Update All your Firefox Plugins
I think it might be a matter of choosing a different font. Still experimenting.
Have you gone through all my previous links ?? Tell when you do it.
As I read the choices, I realized that the way things are displayed resembles the Safe Mode. I'm not in Safe Mode, but that always looks a bit fuzzy, and this is similar. I've tried most of the options, but I'm not clear on how to do the recommendations for the extensions. Seems rather complicated.
IF Testing for Faulty Extensions seem complicated/trouble to you, do this:
Create a New Profile
-> Basic Troubleshooting: Make a New Profile
IF that New Profile works then you can recover your Bookmarks and Passwords from the Old Profile.
-> Recovering important data from an old profile
Check and tell if its working.
Do you have Clear Type set on your system?

Not related to your question, but...
You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update as necessary:
- Plug-in check: https://www-trunk.stage.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
- Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in: Installing (or Updating) the Shockwave plugin with Firefox
- Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape: Installing/Updating Adobe Reader in Firefox
- Shockwave Flash (Adobe Flash or Flash): Updating Flash in Firefox
- Next Generation Java Plug-in for Mozilla browsers: Installing or Updating Java in Firefox
Clear Type made quite a difference. Thanks.
