Firefox freezes for a while (~30 seconds) when loading Gmail after signing in or displaying the Google+ main page.

Everytime I log into Gmail, the site loads and then I can't click on anything for about 30 seconds or so and then it resolves itself. The same thing happens when I go to Google+ home page. Firefox does not crash, but consistent freezing when you log in is frustrating. I feel like this might be a problem with AdBlock or Flashblock plugis. Any ideas?
