I can't play any music in myspace.com, the play buttons are always greyed out. If I go to the exact same url in IE i can play the music fine. I currently have Shockwave Flash 10.3.181.26 plug-in installed on Firefox 5.

None of the above worked. I'm pretty sure it's Adobe Flash issue though. Now when I click on a link to play a song it asks me to install install_flashplayer10_mssd_aih.exe but when i try to do this the installation fails saying the 'metafile download failed'.

Do you have security software (firewall with enhanced settings) that can block Flash?

Check that you aren't blocking images from some domains. See:

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Images_or_animations_do_not_load

-> Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions

-> Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically

-> Check the Exceptions in Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions

-> Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images)

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block images.

Still no go. No blocked images from what I can see. There are some greyed out but none blocked. See attachment.

I've also got Flash up to date so i don't think it's that after all.

Flash is definitely up to date. I doubt it would work on IE otherwise.

What do you see if you right-click the Flash player?

And now grooveshark isn't playing any music. I can search grooveshark, add music to a playlist but when click on song there is no sound. Once again, it works on IE. After years of enjoying Firefox I'm really starting to dislike it intensely!

Got grooveshark back working; Windows Presentation Foundation add-on was diasbaled. Still can't get myspace to work though.
