I am using an Acer Aspire (laptop/notebook) running Windows7. When I contact a friend on Skype they can. hear me but not see me. I can both hear and see them. My video does not appear on the small screen below theirs on my computer. When I installed Skype I ran the required checks on my webcam and speaker and they were both shown as working. I checked the Device Management on Control Panels and was shown the webcam was working. Is there a compatibility issue between Skype and Firefox? This is the first time I have attempted to use Skype.
