When I tried to click on link in email sent to confirm my email address, got error "something is wrong...unable to activate your account".

When I tried to confirm my e-mail address by clicking on the link in the e-mail after submitting a question on at this very help site, I got the following message:

Firefox Help Welcome, sdsutherland1. Dashboard | Sign Out Something is wrong

We could not activate your account. Please make sure that you have clicked the correct link in your email or typed in the correct address.

I was able to log in to this site but what do I do now?
