Firefox used to record e-mail addresses for me but no longer does so, so I need to type out e-mail addresses now instead of them coming up automatically when I type in the first few letters. What can I do to restore this feature?

I have an AOL account which I access through Mozilla Firefox. When I would get an e-mail from someone, it would automatically record that e-mail address. I would type in the first couple of letters of that address and the rest would automatically appear. This is no longer happening and I am having to type out e-mail addresses.
