upgraded to 4.0, windows XP, my weather.com toolbar has been deleted, I can't get "instant weather" addon (or extension?) to load due to 2 javascript errors. I love this addon and would be willing to go back to Firefox 3 or give me a solution

You need to do a little bit of tweaking for this add-on to make it compatible with FF4. It's not too complicated, just follow the steps in this link and you'll get it back:
