I have so many tool bars, some are really short, and I'd like to be able to move them around so the short ones fit on one line.

Doesn't really show me HOW to do it. What I want to do is Combine two tool bars onto one line. And I know in IE you can drag them around, so I guess I could choose to view as IE.

Unlike IE where you move entire Toolbars around, in Firefox you move each individual toolbar item to where you want it. Firefox is more "customizable" in that respect. A problem can come about if the developer of a toolbar extension did a "quick job" and didn't include enough code to make their Toolbar extension as customizable as Firefox allows.

The Customize mode will show addon toolbars in addition to the three default Toolbars that come with Firefox. Moving individual items for addon toolbar items works pretty much the same as with the default toolbars, as long as the addon toolbars were created to allow their items to be moved to another toolbar. Sometimes you can move everything from one Toolbar extension to another toolbar all at once, but you can move anything else to that toolbar afterwards, even if there appears to be space for more items.

Sorry, without knowing exactly which Toolbar extensions are involved, it is hard to tell you exactly what to do and how to do it - there are too many variables involved. What advice I can offer, is that the bigger or more well known the developer of a Toolbar extension is, the less chance they did their extension the "right way" and included all the features that are offered by Firefox as far as Toolbar customization goes. That opinion is based upon what other users have posted here about their problems when trying to "customize" their toolbar extensions.

The only way to discover what is possible with each specific toolbar is to try moving items and see what works for you and what doesn't work. If you "mess up" your customization up and don't know how to fix it back to the way it was, you can use the Restore Default Set button in the bottom of the customize palette to get the toolbars back to their default settings, as mentioned in that support article I hyperlinked.

For a more specific answer we need to know exactly which extensions are involved. Information that was asked of you when you created this thread. A copy'n'paste from Help > Troubleshooting information... in your Firefox installation. And even with that a "helper" would need to have those same Toolbar extensions installed to be able to provide a specific answer.

The tool bars I have installed are from NORTON, RoboForm, PING, and Creatives are Community. I'm attaching a screen shot for you.

You'll need to wait for someone who uses those Toolbars to offer their opinion about merging them. Sorry, I don't use any Toolbar extensions myself. When I customize the toolbars in Firefox, I rearrange items to reduce the number of visible toolbars to one or two. And with two toolbars, that is with 10 -12 Toolbar buttons added to the UI.

IIRC, Norton is one problematic Toolbar for merging to or from, and (again IIRC) Roboform you can move items to that Toolbar, but not the Roboform items to another Toolbar.

You might want to consider getting rid of the Menu bar, and reduce the File, Edit, View, etc down to one Button with the Compact Menu 2 extension.

I didn't know I could do that. That helped. Thanks.
