When I open firefox options tab, nothing sits to the right of the "advanced" tab--where synch set-up should be I believe. I am trying to set-up on my laptop PC, using my desktop as home base. I have reloaded the latest version of 3.6.13. Thanks!

Firefox 3.6 versions don't have Sync built-in (as the 4.0 betas have), you need to install the Firefox Sync extension.
