Where can I see the passwords that Firefox has saved for me?
Firefox has saved a couple of passwords that I neglected to write down in case I need to enter them at a different location. Can I see the contents of the saved passwords file? Where is it?

You can see them in the password manager.
- In the tools menu select Options to open the Options window
- In the Options window select the Security panel
- Click on the Saved Passwords button to open the password manager
- In the password manager click the "Show Passwords" button
If you have used a master password you will need to enter it to view the saved passwords.

Thanks. All that code -- way more than I can cope with. Fortunately the previous response answered my question.
Cheers to all who help us solve Firefox problems and answer questions.
You can use the Password Exporter extension to make a backup of the passwords.
