firefox sync does not sync bookmarks between two machines

I am trying to sync bookmarks between firefox 3.6.10 on Windows and firefox 3.6.9 on Linux. I have firefox sync plugin installed on both machines and connected with same account. If I add bookmark in Firefox in Windows, I am not able to see it in Firefox in Linux. I even tried disconnecting and connecting back and then clicking on 'sync now' buttons in both browsers but nothing works.

The error was shown multiple times. No such error was displayed in sync logs in Windows.

So wht's happening here and how can I sync the bookmarks?

Which version of the Firefox Sync extension do you have installed in each Firefox Profile?

You need Firefox Sync 1.5 .
