Isisombululo esikhethiwe

I'm getting this too, both in Chrome and Firefox, all the latest updates. Very annoying and at least marginally disconcerting.

I started getting this a day or so ago. I have not visited any sites that I don't normally go to, nor have I installed any new apps. I am, however, using Opera, not Firefox. I've just set it to block *.videocop.com/* Hopefully that works out. None of my scans have picked this up yet.

Is there a way to block it with Firefox. I have never use or heard of Opera

i am having this issue in both firefox and internet explorer, at the same time i started having issues with google opening links in a new window everytime and having new windows/tab open with search.gugle.com in the address bar that then resolve to google.com.

i have scanned for viruses, spyware, and also formatted my laptop to no avail. the issue also occurs on another computer and 2 ipods in my house.

any ideas?

This is not a virus; I am experiencing the same redirect problem on the following machines on this local network:

2 netbooks running Ubuntu linux, standard user accounts-NO FLASH. 2 Macbooks 1 Windows 7 machine 1 iPad

The router was hacked. Cochango gave me the crucial information in the post above – DNS entries had been manually inserted.

The DNS entries were:

213.109.68.117 213.109.75.211

This is not a virus.

The involved router is a Netgear WPN824v3. The default password had not been changed, so this wasn't particularly difficult for someone to do.
