I have the same problem, plus more. I cannot click on a button, does no good. I have been using 3.01, would never upgrade; always had a problem since 3.5. Now I upgrade to 3.66 figuring the problems were over, wrong. No scroll wheel, no buttons, cannot close half the windows, cannot go to a bookmarked page. Did Microsoft take over Mozilla? If I wanted a junk browser, I would use IE. I want the Firefox that it used to be; stable, reliable. What happened? Only way I can get Firefox to work is in safe-mode.

Same problem for me, i used to be able to click in my scroll wheel and speed scroll the entire page... now i can bearly scroll for maybe 10 lines then it knocks me out of speed scrolling.

Very annoying, i'm using chrome until it's fixed.

i have the same problem with the scroll wheel and also clicking does not work on certain things, like clicking a tab to view it. It makes Firefox unuseable. I am on Windows 7 using Firefox 3.6.12

UPDATE: I updated my synaptics driver for my touchpad (by going to the Device Manager and clicking on update drivers in the mouse tab) and this fixed the problem not only for my touchpad, but also for my USB mouse. My computer is an HP laptop by the way.

Repro. FF 5.0 for Android on a Xoom with a Bluetooth mouse, no scroll wheel love. Have not done any deep twiddling.

I had a similar problem with my scroll wheel not working reliably after upgrading Firefox recently. It turned out to be the IETab extension causing the problem for me. I disabled the addon and the scrollwheel began working again.

I have a laptop with a joystick. Scroll down for the central button does not work. I installed version 3.6 again, but got a message from the site of Firefox that they put forced version 12.0 What should I do?
