What would account for the missing Oauth2 in the pw field?

It's there and in use on other accounts, and has been for years.

The funny thing is, another GMX.net acct can send mail with normal pw and STARTTLS. But sending on the gmx.co.uk address never succeeds. It stalls forever. I am able to receive email, so we know the PW is correct.

I consulted someone who uses gmx.com.

"gmx.net is the German-language version of GMX and is managed differently from gmx.com and the various national domains (gmx.co.uk, gmx.fr, etc.). [gmx.net supports oauth2.

But on Gmx.com [and gmx.co.uk, gmx.fr, etc], Oauth has never been available as far as I know. POP/IMAP/SMTP access must be enabled in the settings."

Wayne, Thanks, I have had accts at gmx.net since, well, for at least 25 years. In the beginning... there was only gmx.net. I use it when I want to fall under the EU privacy standards.

Is sending from gmx.co.uk now working?
