how to show the active tab automatically
how can i force the active tab to show? i am fairly sure this feature was in a previous edition. I have a large number of tabs and sometimes an app or video will start and i am forced to go back and forth thru all the tabs just so i can stop them.

HI there,
Not sure if that's what you were referring to, but you can press Ctrl+Tab two times in a row.
thanks for replying! i tried your ctrl-tab idea once and then again doing it twice as you suggested, but that would only take me to some random tab. perhaps it has something to do w/ the "simple tabs" app. the situation is that i tend to have a lot of tabs which together take up more than the width of the screen even when using the "simple tabs" app. for example, sometimes youtube videos will start for some reason and it is difficult to find the exact tab that is actually the source of the video. i am fairly sure that there was some sort of way in prev. FF versions with which i could somehow go to the exact tab that was playing. as is, even w/ using the "simple tags" app, there may be 25 - 50 individual tabs inside each of the "simple tabs". so i wind up having to expand multiple "simple tabs" until i can find the individual tab that is actually playing - total bummer and a great waste of time. as i recall, i could click/press a few keys and FF would go to the tab and highlight it so i could watch/stop, etc. thanks for any suggestions on this matter! wolfgang
