I have a bookmark folder with 12 entries. In the bookmark manager, I see all 12 entries. when I select the bookmark folder from the toolbar, the drop down menu only lists four entries,

Are you sure that this is the correct folder? You have two Bookmarks toolbars and two "trains" folders. On your toolbar there's "Trains", not "trains".

Are you sure that this is the correct folder? You have two Bookmarks toolbars and two "trains" folders. On your toolbar there's "Trains", not "trains".
