How can you remove the regular reminder to update firefox to the newest version on macos that occurs when you tick "Check for updates but let you choose to install them"?

Hello

DisableAppUpdate.

doesnt this only disable the updates (aka is exactly what i have already done)

According to your title subject Firefox 142.0, apparently, you are up to date.

Your question, is it, how to prevent the futur regular reminder to update firefox.

No, I have the installer for older versions and my question is directed towards disabling the annoying popup asking you to update, not to disable the updates which I have already done

Since release Firefox 63 https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/63.0/releasenotes

The option to Never check for updates was removed from about:preferences. You can use the DisableAppUpdate enterprise policy as a substitute.
