I am currently using linux based debian distribution OS and in my Firefox browser it dont let me auto saving my passwords and also that option is not highlighted

Hi anujchandlauna,

Thanks for the screenshot. If the option to save passwords is greyed out, it might be related to how Firefox is interacting with your system's login or key storage.

Can you let us know:

  • What version of Firefox you're using?
  • Where you downloaded Firefox from (package manager, Mozilla site, Flatpak, etc.)?
  • What desktop environment you're using (GNOME, KDE, XFCE, etc.)?

This will help figure out what might be blocking the password-saving feature.
