Favorites have disappeared. When I try to restore from backup, it says Unable to process the backup file.  ????

Three days ago, my "Galaxy S6 Lite" running Firefox's browser, suddenly lost all of my Favorite Collections of Websites I had visited, then saved -which over two years, is quite a lot!

There seems nothing I can do to get them back! I looked into this "Key" a list of letters and numbers, supposed to recover your account, but this is proving fruitless!!

What can I do? Any ideas?
