I use Firefox Android. Some websites enable a kind of "close guard" confirm modal that asks you if you really want to leave the website when you reload or, normally, when you close the tab [Screenshot of this attached, sorry it's in German]. This is usually to protect unsaved text that you've written on there or similar stuff. On Firefox Android, when I '''reload''' a tab with this enabled, it does prevent the reload and show the modal. However, in opposition to Firefox Desktop, the modal is not shown when a tab with this enabled is '''closed''' via swiping gesture or pressing the X on the tab overview. That can lead to frustrating loss of data bc of accidentally closing a tab, even though the website already has enabled a measure to prevent that! It would be very useful to have the confirm modal be shown on Tab Closure on Firefox Android too.
