I'm trying to get my settings & themes back after an update, and nothing is working. I can't even open bookmarks on the bookmarks toolbar. I just get "new tab" with the dots moving like it's searching for a site.

Yeah, a lot my settings were also changed, but that's about it. What OS? Since your settings are changed, how about doing a refresh to see if it helps. You can also try Refreshing Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings
