Hello I use Kahunas as an online coaching app. I am trying to make video messages but every time I try there is a pop up saying that permission is denied. I went into the firefox settings under privacy and checked the permission tab. It doesnt show any pages have recently tried to use it and it does nothing when I try and add the web address in the search field.

Check your OS settings that it permits camera use for Firefox.

Here's something you can try if Firefox isn't prompting you for permission on that page. Call up the Page Info dialog using one of these methods:

  • Ctrl+i (for Mac, Command+i)
  • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info
  • click the lock icon in the address bar, on the drop-down click the > button, then at the bottom click "More Information"

When the dialog comes up, click the Permission icon at the top to show that panel.

Scroll down to "Use the camera" and uncheck the "Use default" box, and then select "Always ask" or "Allow" depending on your trust for the site. Repeat with "Use the microphone."
