every thing went wrong hope I wasn;t hacked. I thank you for your help and hope I got it right now. At almost 80 years old I find this all very confusing especially as I live alone and family live so far away almost 200 kms

This has nothing to do with Firefox browser. Your going to have to get help where you live to help you with your computer problem.
