Were you using Firefox before or are you using it for a longer time? You can consider to create a new profile as it might not be easy to undo all imports.

See "Creating a profile":

You can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but on your case this might not be advisable.

You can use the Profile Manager to remove the no longer needed older profile.

Hi Cor-el, no, i am just new with firefox. just starting out, so i would like to know how to go back to the beginning and have the slate wiped clean. i accidentally had it import data from chrome. that is not what i wanted to do. i thought it was importing just from the page i was working on. instead i now have all the junk from chrome i do not want on my brand new firefox. i would have it do a reset from beginning, but have not been able to figure tht out. any help is greatly appreciated. sheila
