I need to revert back to a previous version of Firefox. Your directory doesn't tell me what the dates are for each version. Which ones are the most current?

The current version is 132.0. Prior to that were 131.0.3, 131.0.2 and 131.0 (no 131.0.1). I'd therefore say that two up-dates ago would be 131.0.2 from 9 October.

Hi, what changed that you want to undo? There might be a setting for it so that you can stay current.

More generally, please see the following article: Install an older version of Firefox.

I don't know what has changed, but Firefox no longer works with a program I need for work. I already had them change it once before because of this to a previous version. If I can't figure it out I have to use a different browser and prefer Firefox, but because it's a work issue I have no choice.

So you have to do this every 4 weeks? What a headache! I suggest installing the Extended Support Release of Firefox 128 alongside your regular Firefox to use for your work app. After downloading the installer, you can customize the installation folder to make sure it doesn't replace regular Firefox.

If you use the new installation without signing in to your Firefox Account, you can give it a different theme so you can spot the difference at a glance when switching windows. Alternately, if you do sign it in, then the ESR of Firefox 128 should bring over your bookmarks and other data (via Sync), which could be convenient. Let us know if you have any questions about this option.

I've decided just to use a different browser and cancel my monthly support. It's clear that you don't believe me with your flippant remark and that's fine. When they ask why they are no longer getting a monthly donation from me, I will point them to their oh-so-helpful support. And you really need to understand, if your first instinct is to say you weren't being flippant, is that you can't read tone and your tone came off as condescending which I'm sure you meant.

Hmm it seems like you think you are chatting with staff from Mozilla when this is a community support forum as you can see at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/all?show=all&owner=all

None of the web browsers have one on one support except for perhaps enterprise users who pay for it.

Wow, I meant to be sympathetic with your plight and offer a practical solution. Sorry that didn't come across the way I meant it. Whether you donate or not, if you decide after trying an alternate browser that you still like Firefox, you can use the Extended Support Release option. It gets regular security updates, so it's a safer choice than sticking with Firefox 130.
