Why is Firefox creating many copies of webpages I visit? I go to a website, but then have to click the back button several times to return to where I was. Right click on the back button shows that there are several copies of the same page (see photo attached). What gives?

You might have clicked to go to a position on the page or there might have been reload. Some extensions also can cause extra items to appear in the tab history list.

Note that you can hold down the left mouse button on either Back or Forward button to open the tab history drop-down panel.
