Firefox should definitely add a dedicated option in the toolbar to make switching between profiles easier. Currently, the only way to do this is through the "about:profiles" tab, which is much less convenient than the profile switching options in other browsers

davide.calzo06, if you weren't already aware, then other people have also been requesting a simpler profile-switching method at Mozilla Connect, see https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/shortcut-for-different-profiles/idi-p/707 According to this page this is 'in development'. If you wanted to you could Add kudos to the original post as Firefox developers use this site to track interest in feature suggestions.

In the meantime, and if you haven't already, you can create a shortcut to the about:profiles page in the bookmarks toolbar for quicker access.

Another possibility is to use command-line options to launch profiles. You can create shortcuts on the desktop or in the start menu that look like either of the following: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -P "profile_name" "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -profile "profile_path" (where "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" can be replaced if your Firefox was installed to a different folder)
