Shortcut Tiles no longer have three buttons to add, edit, remove shortcuts.

I am using Firefox 129.0.1 on a Windows 11 laptop and the three dots do not appear on the shortcut tiles when I hover over any of them. I have checked online documentation and it still describes using the three dots to add, edit or remove a tile. Am I missing something? Help would be most appreciated.

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click "Refresh Firefox" in the Troubleshoot Mode start window

Hi, there. Thank you for your response. It was the theme I was using that caused the problem. I switched to one of the classic themes and the three buttons returned when I hover over a tile. I appreciate the quick response.
