Firefox developer edition crashes all the time, Crash ID: bp-20d91ca4-1f79-4211-a3d5-4fd7c0240507
Dear,
I have been using Firefox Developer Edition for many years without any problem. I sync Firefox on my different PCs, so they are basically all the same in setup. Unfortunately, Firefox now crashes constantly on my main PC. I have therefore temporarily switched to the default FF variant.
Of course I have tried all the steps shown here on the forum but without any result that I can see. Both in safe mode with or without addons. No matter FF crashed.
The error ID: Crash ID: bp-20d91ca4-1f79-4211-a3d5-4fd7c0240507
I hope someone can help me on my way ,
Regards,
Reinder

Something with the update check?
I can and have updated the Developer version but the crashing stays.

But it still does update checks. As a test, try to disable updates with a policy => https://mozilla.github.io/policy-templates/#manualappupdateonly
OK I get it. I checked my system but its Windows 11 home and does not allow group policies.

I stopped the FF update installing automatically. The crashing seems to be stopped but the browser is very slow. In FB the messenger won't load so there must be more then one issue.

By the way, standard FF is running alongside smootly without any problem.

Update, the crashing continues despite changed setting for installing the updates.

Are you using "Clear history when Firefox closes"?

My FF settings are, almost, the same for several years and not changed recently. I'm synchronizing FF on all my pc's and laptops. Only my main PC is showing up this problem. The other instances are working, as usual, just fine.
