Long, long time TBird user. But I'm on the newest version for Linux and it seems the option to empty the junk folder has dissapeared from my drop down. It was always there on the prior versions but I've search and searched and looked and looked and also scoured these forums and cannot find how to make it return. I get so much junk mail, even with filtering, that I must empty this folder multiple times daily. Can anyone please direct me to where that option is and can be set so I can resume using it? Thanks you all.

does the folder have a standard junk icon or a yellow folder icon. That is the most obvious way for it to not have the menu entry.

Hi Matt, Unfortunately no, there is no special indication simply because there is no line that reads "Empty Junk" in the drop down menu. The drop down menu on the Trash folder includes the line "Empty Trash" which works and in prior version this was always present on the Junk folder drop down. I'll continue searching but if you or anyone has any other ideas i'd greatly appreciate it. While it is possible to delete the contents of the Junk folder this was and is the easiest way to accomplish that and I had become used to it over the years. Thanks
