Why did Firefox developers make bookmark access hugely more cumbersome? It used to be MUCH faster and easier with less keystrokes. Now its downright terrible.

Beyond the Mouse accessing the bookmark link there is the HotKey defaults that access bookmarks. You going to have to be more descriptive to other Firefox forum users on here what is cumbersome to access the bookmark. So unless one changes the settings using userChrome.css edits that is outside of the default HotKeys that isn't something Firefox forum can do beyond the listed Firefox Hotkeys usage.
