Have you selected "Always use private browsing mode" on the Privacy page in Settings or changed anything in about:config? If you don't get an answer, try troubleshooting mode.

Also make sure you do not use "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the "Browsing History". See Settings may be incorrect:
