When you signed up for what?

Are you on paid or free Mailfence?

If you're on free Mailfence, why not just close that account and install Thunderbird and set it up?

Are you using Mailfence with Gmail currently?

Since Mailfence is an email provider and Thunderbird is an email client, you can use Thunderbird to access your Mailfence account. I think the server settings are imap dot mailfence dot com for incoming and smtp dot mailfence dot com for SMTP. Both use SSL/TLS I believe.
