Firefox used to open maximised but now opens in a half size window. I recently had an issue, following a Firefox update, of Google maps controls in the lower right corner missing. Also I could not toggle between map views. After advice from the forum I changed the "privacy.resistFingerprinting from 'false' to 'true'. This solved the Google maps problem but seems to have introduced the issue of Firefox opening in a 'half size' window. Any thoughts on what to do next, or do I live with it? Thanks - Chris

Yes, enabling that preference sets your window size. This is the first time I have heard of it fixing anything. I would try something else with G Maps, perhaps clearing cookies then cache. If neither works, try troubleshooting.
