Hello, in the past, firefox never asked for permission when it updated itself, but yesterday it asked for permission (do you want to allow this app to make changes on your device) when I started it. Is that something to be concerned about (e.g. Virus etc.) I haven't changed any firefox/windows settings, am using windows 10, firefox version 112.0.1. I have admin privileges. Thank you.

A possible cause of this message is that Firefox is set to run as Administrator. Check that Firefox isn't set to run as Administrator. Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties". Make sure all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.

Thanks techguy150 I've checked that Firefox isn't set to run as Administrator, and all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
