Dear Sir

I have been using Firefox for a long time certainly all this century, I regret to say that you have done something to the system such that I am unable to get into online banking and on some sites I get a message something to do with a frame whatever that is. I regret to say that i have been forced to make Edge my default browser When you have cured the problem please advise and I will revert to making Firefox my default. Many thanks Graham Blackburn

(1) Online banking

Is the problem that you can't get signed in or can't stay signed in? If you are getting some other error, please copy/paste the error text into a reply here (not by email).

Firefox recently rolled out "Total Cookie Protection" to more users. This limits how sites can use "third party" or "cross-site" cookies, meaning cookies from different websites than the one you see in the address bar. Some sites pass you back and forth between different servers during login because they have their services spread out over a number of different servers. In those cases, you might be able to submit a form successfully on one page and then the next page says you are not logged in. Frustrating!

You can make exceptions to this feature when needed (for each server that you visit as part of the process of using this company's services). More info in the following articles:

Any difference?

(2) Frame error

Generally speaking, a frame is a rectangular area of the page where a completely different page is embedded.

If the error is related to not being logged in, please see the steps under #1 above. Otherwise:

Could you copy/paste the error text into a reply here at https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1411060 (this site doesn't accept replies by email).
