On Monday September 25th from 10PM EDT - 12AM EDT (2AM UTC - 4AM UTC on September 26th), we will be performing system maintenance on the Firefox Accounts databases for two hours. During the maintenance window, there will be brief periods of a few minutes where users will not be able to login to their accounts. Please try again at a later time.

more options

I used Chrome for ages, and migrated to Firefox. The spell check on Chrome has an option to give use the internet to offer suggestions on spelling corrections.

The option is now called "Enhanced Spell Check" and it states that it uses the same spell checker that's used in Google Search.

Something similar would be helpful in Firefox as the built in Spell Checker is rather lacking and seems to fail often on newer or more rarely used words. Sometimes it just completely fails.

For example: I wrote: "hipocritical" Firefox's suggestion: "theocracy" Chromes "enhanced" suggestion: 'hypocritical"
