Received email - formatted text color does not display properly

Hello, I am using Thunderbird as well as my co-workers, although this issue is only present on my computer. I am using now Thunderbird version 102.2.2. When I receive email from others all text displays black even thought on my coworkers laptops it displays in color (the edited parts of course). When I forward the email it appears in color in edit window. In View/Message Body As I have Original HTML; the issue seems to be only about the colors; Bold edit displays properly. Thank you

Could you please post a screenshot of a message and comment on what is in color that your coworkers see? I don't know what you mean by saying it 'displays in color (the edited parts...)'. Thank you.

Sure, sorry for bad explanation. What I see is all black (attachment 1); what others see is partially black & red. Our clients tend to answer our questions in colors.

Are the messages just one line? Puzzling that you see bold and not color. You might check tools>settings>General and click the 'colors' tab and be sure that 'use system colors is NOT ticked. And that's just a guess.

Hi, thank you for respond. Messages are not only one line. Please see attachment. And remember that when I click forward I can see colors properly in the edit tab. This is very strange. I tried updating thunderbird but that did not help either. Also the suggested solution by you did not help. I found this solution in topic from but I can't locate options in tools:

So please try this: Tools > Options > Display > Formatting tab or Menu icon > Options > Options > Display > Formatting tab

click on 'Colours' button Select : 'Allow content to choose it's own colours, instead of my selections above.' click on OK. Click on OK

Open one of those messages that should show color and then click View> message source and do a screenshot of that. Seeing the actual HTML may be of some help. Thank you.
