Hi, Whenever I enter account settings and try to make a change in server's settings, I receive this message which is useless and buggy. Any help?

I missed to mention Win 11 Pro TB v. 102.1.1

why is it either useless or buggy?

Clearly there is something odd in the settings, You may not consider them wrong, but the program thinks they are. Perhaps take the time to explain what you have set and why.

@matt, TB cannot think first of all. You think that there is sth wrong with the junk seetings. Since Junk settings are perfectly setted there is no reason/logic to receive such a message. If there was really any problem then there would be logic. I need solutions not thoughts.

In twenty years I've never heard of this. But the message comes from "junkSettingsBroken", just below https://searchfox.org/comm-central/source/mailnews/base/prefs/content/AccountManager.js#1049 "if we made account changes to the spam settings, we'll need to re-initialize our settings object"

It doesn't elaborate on why the message is issued. I agree with Matt, you need to examine your settings and determine why in your case it is being flagged.

I'm seeing this too every once in a while, I believe when messing with OpenPGP settings. It certainly is something completely unrelated to Junk settings which are fine, and haven't changed in ages. So I tend to agree with the OP, this is a bug. I'm not having exact steps to reproduce this though.

Guys hi, After a lot of research I found out why I had this message shown. I have many address books and in my case 2 of them contained no contacts but I had ticked them in the junk settings. When I unticked them the message stopped showing. OMG why there are no analytical notes or a worthy help file about these problems. The quality assurance dpt should care about this or there is no QA.
