How to print a pop out window?
I want to print a pop out window, but when I try to print to a pdf, it only wants to print the background/main screen, not the pop out.

See image. I want to print the pop out window, not the background screen.
Can we access that pdf?
Perhaps the PDF is in a frame? In that case, try this:
right-click a blank area of the PDF > This Frame > Print Frame...
or
right-click a blank area of the PDF > This Frame > Open Frame in New Tab
I’m not sure what you mean about accessing the pdf. The image is a screenshot shot showing that I have a pop up window that I’m trying to print. When I click on the top right hamburger menu, it gives me a print option, from which you can choose to print to pdf instead of physically printing. However, it is printing to pdf the background window instead of the pop up window.
I’m also not sure what you mean about the pdf being in a frame. I don’t have a pdf document yet because I can get Firefox to print the correct window. It is printing the background window to pdf, which isn’t what I want. I want the pop up window to print to a pdf.
Some overlays hold a completely separate document, which involves using a frame. Try right-clicking what you want included in your print-out and see whether you get the "This Frame" item on the menu.
When I right click on the pop up, these are the options that I get.
Thanks. Looks like it's not in a frame. Possibly the page's print style rules are hiding it, but here's one more thought. If you select the part you want to print, then right-click > Print Selection, does Firefox show the text in that case?
Unfortunately, no, highlighting the text and trying to print selected doesn't work either. That was something I had tried. It "works" in the sense that it now "understands" that I want to print from the pop out rather than the main window, but it won't render correctly into the pdf. You can see what I mean in this screenshot. It's off center and cut off so you can't see all of the text that was selected.
Hmm, I'm not sure why that page is not compatible with Firefox.
Sometimes if you narrow the window to force the site to switch to its tablet or phone layout, then the bits and pieces of the page line up better for printing. Otherwise, I don't know what to suggest without getting hands on.
