Thunderbird fails to create an account, WIN7.
I let Thunderbord fill out the first forms page, and the encrypted P/W is green. I also attempted to populate the "att.net" settings, tested it, and the P/W is green. After doing all this, I do NOT see a "Create Account" field. Not sure what to do now.

I am unclear on what you are saying. It 'sounds like' you already created an account. can you show screenshots of the tools>accountsettings panel?
I have lost ALL my Microsoft apps, so I don't have paint to share the screen with you. I can tell you that the account settings are all blank.
How can I share a screen shot with you since I don't have paint anymore?

Okay, no screenshot appeared. From your writeup, it may be that you entered account info, but if TB thinks there is an error, it does not create the account. I suggest you try again in setting it up. I think there is a button to 'test' where TB confirms the account is workable. And, as an FYI, there is a nice free screen capture utility at bluefive dot pairsite dot com slash snapshot dot htm . Let me know how it goes.
